PVP is the best part of Destiny AND WHY
PVP is so awesome. The only reason i play the story mode is to get new weapons and gear to test them in PVP. Not only be the best at the story mode , but also show off your gear and skills at PVP
The only people who complain about how bad PVP is are the people who suck honestly. I sucked at it in the beginning then a hour later i look on the score board im top 5000!! Thats not great but still its fun!!
1.pvp shows of your skills and gear
2.pvp gets you awesome rewards and new gear.
3.im sure they got more modes for PVP in the launch
4.if you suck at fighting you can just be a objective player
5.PROVES WHOS THE BEST GUARDIAN
I mean come on.. PVP is great only suckers aka hunters and titans (troll) complain.
EDIT: Not only that but all of us has only played the BETA you don't even know whats next on the other 15 maps!!

The PVE grew on me during the BETA, it's pretty much Halo Reach except better because it's not Halo Reach. But those vehicles were trash though, that map could stand on it's own without weaponized vehicles.

pvp is only a mind dumbing activity. just like all pvp in all games. besides gear, which you can probaly get the equivalant in pve gear, there is no point to pvp. yes it can be a break from the pve side but i hope in no way is pvp a large or medium size part of destiny.

3 RepliesSo the only reason that people don't like something is because they aren't good at it? That's some wonderfully naive logic. Ever think some people may not like the pvp because it stacks up horribly against other pvp games like battlefield. Against a simple game like cod it's fine. Against a multiplayer franchise like battlefield, destiny plays just like cod. It's a joke.

1 ReplyI went 46 and 8 on the moon map and still lost but had the most fun I've ever had with any PvP. If this were halo I would have been pissed. But this is Destiny. I felt connected with my guardian (TITAN) and knowing at any second if I were to get ambushed, I could always rely on my super ability. Never had that with any other fps. This really is a well made game. And to know if I get tired of the PvP, I can always go back to that huge universe Bungie created.

2 RepliesI'm tired of the attitude that if you didn't like the pvp you must suck at the game. It was used when people complained about reach and Halo 4 when in reality the multiplayer just didn't hold up to the previous games. The Main problems I have with the PvP 1. there are way too many one hit kill weapons. I remember when people were freaking out that you could spawn with the boltshot and that had a charge time, short range, and only two shots per magazine. Yet in destiny you can spawn with a sniper rifle, shotgun or fusion rifle. You also get a rechargeable super. 2. Coming from Halo the kill times are a little too fast for my tastes. 3. First Light was a terrible map. I did enjoy the other 3 maps tho. 4. The motion tracker detects movement from way too far away. 5. Limiting voice chat in PvP is quite possibly the stupidest thing ever. The worst part is that there were things I loved in the game and it is making it hard for me to decide whether to buy it or not. I almost would have preferred to simply hate it, instead of being stuck on a fence.

I admit i'm not good at pvp consistently. But that doesn't mean it's difficult to be good. I have had a few games go 20-30+ kills in a match. I think it needs some tweaking though. The vehicles seem too strong and the spawns are deff not good. I've spawned on top of enemies and spawn snipped people from B flag on venus. keeping that in mind pvp seems okay. But i'm buying destiny for PvE because shooting games in general bore me. It's pretty much what i've only done my entire gaming career.

I agree with all your points, OP. I really enjoyed PVP. I'm coming to Destiny after a year and a half of playing Dust 514, and the pacing took a while to get used to. But once I did, I started going positive each match and getting more and more kills. Also, as a Warlock, it's pretty sweet taking fire, then gliding for two seconds and returning to the fight with full health. OM NOM NOM.
