This is an appreciation post to Bungie. They have spent the last 4-5 years developing a game that is a worthy successor to Halo and after playing the beta it seems it will more than live up to the hype - what a game.
My concern is that when Bungie employees go on the forums they are solely greeted by absolute morons making ludicrous and stupid comments about the game.
To people who feel as though our stats should carry over the the full game: It is a beta and everyone should have a fair chance from day one. No one forced you to put those hours in, you were helping to test the game.
To the people who are let down as to the game's content: We have absolutely no idea what the full game will consist of content-wise, so leave your pointless moaning out of the forums.
To the people who have generally moaned about aspects of the game like lacking beta content and class balance and story and online functionality: This is a game that has taken years to develop and which the developers are great enough to interact with the community about and set up an Alpha and a Beta. No one is making you buy this game.
There is a lot more stupidity that I won't go into, but everyday I go on the forums I just feel sorry for Bungie, and I hope a lot of you do too. Those of us who have been here since Halo: CE know that Destiny will be a marvel and worthy of next to no criticism, especially not from the morons I see on here everyday.
