Think about you and your friends just beat that strike and got some epic loot. You wanna try the guns out, but you don't wanna got to crucible or explore. Survival is perfect. It would not be that hard to implement. Just use the crucible maps and whatever planet it is on then you fight those enemys. Please DeeJ reply to this!!!! Whenever we get enough replies I'll move it to feedback thanks guardians see you later.
Edit: thanks to tomb2 (Can't remember full name) he came up with a solution. You would get loot every 5 waves you will be able to keep your loot after 20. If you die you lose all loot. High risk high reward.
Edit: well I think the survival mode would be entirely glimmer based same concept with you lose all if you die, but just glimmer.
Edit: thanks guys for all the support lets see if we can spread the word a bit more maybe some reposts thanks everyone. See you starside.
in bungie we trus7
I have to agree on this, because there really aren't many intense PvE encounters, the kind when you're surrounded, backed into a corner, that kind of thing. It happened at the end of "The Array," it happened in the "deactivating mesh layers" in the Strike, and it happens in "Defend the Warsat" events. Unfortunately, those all have limitations--"The Array" and the Strike are entire missions you have to play through for that one intense firefight, and Public Events are not only rare but generally too hard for a single guardian. A survival mode would be the perfect complement to Destiny's existing modes--you have explore (do whatever), story (lore/purpose), strike (offensive, mission, loot) but no mode that really traps you in those intense situations after you've finished the story. And I honestly don't expect this by September, but it'd be a good idea for sequels.
