Just played my first ever game of Crucible. I was the only one using anything other than an Auto Rifle. Automatic weapons should NEVER beat precision weapons. Come on, Bungie. The AR in Halo was always awful. And with good reason.

You're statement isn't true. Their should be a bit of a rock paper scissors type thing going on. Scout Rifle= mid-long range, Auto rifles= short- mid range, Pulse rifles= solid at all ranges. A scout rile should almost always lose in a fully equaled playing field if forced into close range with an AR.

This+100 Halo AR was useless because it was underpowered.
