PLEASE DON'T ADD TRADING! !
I already commented this in response to a post.
"I think it would be a bad idea. It would have the effect Borderlands trading had. You'd get powerful green (and higher) weapons through trading and effectively lose the excitement of a nice loot drop from a boss because.... The weapon in your hand is already better than than nice sexy new weapon that just dropped from the boss you just spent a half hour fighting.
I think it would severely diminish the overall experience **cough**borderlands**cough**"

1 ReplyI think it would be a great idea. However., like the vault, your player can use a weapon if it's your level. To combat "cheapening" the experience, the gun cannot be traded for a gun 2 levels higher or lower, and cannot be an exotic or vanguard weapon/armor. That would fix it IMO. It would come in handy, say you get an AR and your friend the SR and you both wanted the other's weapon, it would be fantastic

Simple solution- Bind on pick up for loot drops- Craftable are tradeable

I don't know. I think that it could be a good thing but I think it should be similar to BL2 where weapons are level set and not available to all. I think that it would be a good thing. But I definitely understand what you mean. It would sort of mess up the joy of earning your gear.

15 RepliesHave you ever played WoW? Trading is a core element to any MMORPG. Without it, it would take too much time farming. There would also be no use for excellent non-class gear. If I'm a Titan with a super rare Hunter head piece, I'd get a lot more selling than from dismantling. Think about it. And trading is useless in BL. The drop goes to anyone

I hate when there is trading, people just become lazy to find and let the money RMT do all talk. I protest on trade system. Most game ruins and end due to some stupid player who wanna earn quick money. Look at Diablo3 example.. now is close and that is Good forever!

Tradings good but they will most definitely not let anyone trade past green items ff14 trading wasn't able to trade powerful armors

How about you limit trades a day and how many things you can trade in a single trade so that it doesn't get out of hand and it will also keep the trades between friends

1 ReplyTrading could work, but it would have to be very complicated. Let's say that you and your friend are both level 20 (max level) and want to trade. You are able to use any piece if equipment (character specific) at that point in the game. Bungee has said that at that level you just begin to obtain better gear to do harder strike missions. But, say that you've spent only 100 hours and your typical armor piece find has about 100 defense whereas your friend has spent 300 hours and typical armor piece find for him has about 300 defense. Now he can give that directly to you and save you that 200 hours of grinding away on strike missions. This is a problem and they would definitely have to look into a solution or else this would totally ruin the game.

3 RepliesI agree that trading should not be introduced as well. I don't think it would be a bad thing on cosmetic items or things with no great monitory value but even then its meh. You start to get chinese farmers and they tend to ruin online games fun. I don't wanna have to be saying oh darn I shouldn't have traded that when I could have bought 5 of them for a dollar, or 1 for 200 dollars. Its pretty stupid. Now another trading possibility would be to allow 1 trade per week.
