Destiny needs a survival mode. REPLY ME DEEJ

Think about you and your friends just beat that strike and got some epic loot. You wanna try the guns out, but you don't wanna got to crucible or explore. Survival is perfect. It would not be that hard to implement. Just use the crucible maps and whatever planet it is on then you fight those enemys. Please DeeJ reply to this!!!! Whenever we get enough replies I'll move it to feedback thanks guardians see you later. Edit: thanks to tomb2 (Can't remember full name) he came up with a solution. You would get loot every 5 waves you will be able to keep your loot after 20. If you die you lose all loot. High risk high reward. Edit: well I think the survival mode would be entirely glimmer based same concept with you lose all if you die, but just glimmer.   • Horde mode would be great. I love co-op survival modes but losing all your loot when you die sounds a little harsh because you can die so suddenly in this game. Especially against the higher level enemies which you will no doubt encounter in a horde mode. I'd make it so that you keep your loot when you die but you get better loot as you go further. You start off only finding white loot then after every five waves enemies could start dropping the next tier of loot. Here's how I would set up the percentages on loot drops. [u]Waves 1-5[/u] White: 15% [u]Waves 6-10[/u] White: 5% Green: 10% [u]Waves 11-15[/u] White: 5% Green: 15% Blue: 10% [u]Waves 16-20[/u] White: 0% Green: 10% Blue: 15% Purple: 5% Increase the drop rates on better loot while slowly getting rid of the low level loot to guarantee good loot for people who get to the higher levels. That way things don't get frustrating when players die and you give them an incentive to play better.

    • Everytime you enter a dark zone (respawn suppressed) in a Strike you're in survival mode.

      • They kind of do this with the war sat public events. Not sure that a game mode would work unless it's something like an invasion mode that would require more than 3 players to defend a location from alien invasion. A side effect of failing could be a debuff making it harder to get ammo / loot or a weakness to certain enemy types for so many mins / hours.

      • I 100% agree with this. Forget Loot Caves or redoing that part in the first moon mission over and over again. Just endless enemies running towards their death and dropping all the random loot a guardian could ask for. There should be modes for different numbers of players. Starting with three man. Hey they could even add lore to this by having us defend the wall or something. I dont know the details just make survival mode happen please!

      • I'm down for a wave based survival mode. The enemy race could be random for each wave too, so you have to change tactics on the fly. Not sure if it would be better with loot drops or just a way to farm glimmer. If loot dropped it probably would need to be only every 5 or 10 rounds.

            • Also, this would improve sales to casuals. While all the people in these forums will most likely tackle raids. Casuals will avoid them. They could then use survival as endgame.

              Every 5/10 waves (Mini)bosses after beating one, 1 reward awarded and so on till wave 100(??) Or Rampage survival; random monster spawn (bosses/elite/normal etc.) All going rampage on the fireteam and survive as long as you can (glimmer based; earn much with ether seed or wax stuff) Someone felt like playing survival(hard) on the moon when the gates opened

              • adding this mode of play would save the game for me. Honestly the story and world exploration hasn't been that appealing so far. Yeah it was fun... just not addicting. Not motivating me to keep doing it.
