[b]TOP 10 THINGS Bungie MUST FIX in Destiny![/b] [I]Hope DeeJ or one of the other Bungie crew actually read this![/I] 1. [b] Waypoints[/b] - When pressing the point button you should be able to set a waypoint that everyone can see, and have it appear on HUD with a range (in meters). These waypoints should also change depending on the object. Waypointing a Fallen, HIve, etc should give a red "ENEMY" waypoint, green "LOOT" for item drops, yellow "CHEST" for chests, purple "VEHICLE" for pikes, interceptors, etc, blue "GHOST" for dead ghosts, and white or grey "WAYPOINT" for everything else such as the ground, a roof, walls, etc. All waypoints should be removable by clicking the waypoint button a second time and not disappear automatically unless 5 minutes pass without response. These may also be useful in PvP with a much quicker half life of around 5 seconds, allowing teams to "tag" important things like enemy snipers, ammo, hiding spots, etc. 2. [b]Increase Freeroam cap to 6 players[/b] - After running with a 6 man team in Crucible, sometimes we need a break and want to head to freeroam to run around and chill out. Or maybe one of us found a cool thing and wants to share. Or maybe we all want to partake on a full scale dead ghost/treasure hunt. It sucks to boot 3 of our friends out especially when we have 5 players and 20 mintutes to kill waiting for our 6th man to join us for an event like Iron Banner. 3. [b]Enable Single Player[/b] - Many times I was paired with noobs or kids that rushed ahead and ignored chests/loot when going into strikes. Or even worse the kids that were idle or hid from battle, just there to steal exp and rewards. Enable the option to run strikes and set them to solo, invite only, friends only, and public. 4. [b]Enable RANKED and SOCIAL modes, or Disable team splitting[/b] - Tired of having my 6 man fireteam split up and forced to fight each other. More often than not when this happens kids sabotage their team to help their friends. At least stop this in Ranked matches. Id prefer not to see it at all, ever. 5. [b]Shared LOOT drops[/b] - when an engram, weapon, or consumable drops it should be universal, AT THE VERY LEAST to your fireteam. It should not disappear after pickup, but rather turn translucent so that players can set waypoints on the loot for their friends. 6. [b]Loot Chest Rework[/b] - These chests have set respawn locations which is nice, except when they spawn in unreachable places. They should be openable from any angle just by approach rather than the very Zelda-like walk up to the front and manually open. They need longer half lives as they disappear way too fast, so they can be shared with teammates. They need better gear most importantly, scaled to the players currently equipped gear and level. Gear that has stat effects should be all that chests give such as an uncommon rifle with a fast reload perk. And increase the amount of glimmer, even if its random. For example one chest gives 130 while another gives 870. 7. [b]Realtime In-game mini-maps and large maps[/b] - Allow pressing a button or two simultaneously to activate maps with realtime data such as player location, vehicles, objectives, waypoints, etc. Many Guardians get lost in Destiny. This need not be the case. Also infinitely more important than a button to "wave hi". 8. [b]Player Names on/under Ships in Load Screens[/b] - Bungie... why would we buy ship skins if nobody knows that's our ship? Come on now. 9. [b]Spawn Next To Team after Join In Progress[/b] - The worst part of freeroam or accepting an invite to a mission is spawning at the first part of the map and having to travel manually while fighting annoying enemies solo until you reach your team by then they either failed or completed the objective. Please fix this to at least spawn in the same general area or at one of several visible LZs (landing zones). 10. [b]Inventory Rework[/b] - first allow players to view all items and gear in a players inventory (not bank, keep that private). If my friend has 4 exotic rifles a legendary shotgun and fusion rifle, 25000 glimmer and 200 ether seeds Id like to see please. Second keep item levels always visible. I hate how it disappears how can I know what to store for my other guardians? My level 8 hunter views a level 6 gun the same as a level 8 yet my level 1 Titan sees their true level. Also this helps when comparing gear with other players. Third show how much glimmer the gear is worth and what youll receive by breaking it down BEFORE you break it down and are sorely disappointed. Also give a warning prompt when trying to dismantle Exotics or Legendries to prevent accidents. Lastly- show a number indicating if you already own the gear and how many. Bungie you made a good game.     • You know even tho none will be considered or will be soled as dlc just because its destiny. I do know my rating would go from a 7/10 to 9/10 if they did this as well as most other peoples ratings would go up also. I would also like to see better weapon balancing and i would rate 10/10 and would probably be one of my all time favorite games. These changes do sound amazing and hope bungie actually talks about putting at least some in the game if not all.

    • Please don't assume that your opinions will automatically make the game better, and make the game better for everyone. I know that some of the stuff you're suggesting is stuff I have no desire to have in my Destiny experience, so please, get off your high horse and listen to some feedback on your opinions and personal suggestions. 1. Waypoints- I really think Waypoints are an unnecessary addition to the game. I don't think they would actually add anything in a game where so much is changing constantly. You want to put up a Waypoint for some enemies? Well you get there and another fireteam has wiped them out. You want to put up a Waypoint for a chest? Someone already beat you there. Most players share information on Dead Ghosts, so having a Waypoint there is almost completely worthless as well. And if you're wanting to put Waypoints on the map in PvP, all you are doing is wasting your time. And there is no point in adding them for vehicles like your sparrow seeing as that are accessible just about everywhere and don't have a specific spawn point. So no, Waypoints would be a waste of time. 2. This is a good idea, something that really needs to be considered, because it would encourage larger group social aspects, along with the Tower and 6 person teams in the Crucible. 3. You can already restrict your fireteam to allow Invite Only. Strikes are meant to be completed by 3 players. If you team up with randoms, you run the risk of what you experienced, its part of multiplayer gaming. Other people have different priorities and schedules than you. It doesn't make them noobs, it means they have a different life than you. So don't just make assumptions when you don't know the entire reason behind their actions. 4. I would also like to not have to deal with my fireteam being split up in Crucible matches. I am not sure how this is occurring in the match making system, but it needs to be fixed. 5. Loot drops should not be shared, nor should they be universal. Everyone has their own private loot stream. It was a key aspect of their design to negate ninjas and give players more peace of mind when interacting with random people. Having individual private loot streams with everyone on their own RNG loot drops it the fairest way to approach loot. If you and your friends can't figure out that just because you got a drop, doesn't mean all your friends did, then I question either your intelligence or your sanity. If you want everyone to be getting the same all the time in a group, then there will be no variation among each player's loot drops. 6. Loot Chests do not spawn in unreachable places, they sometimes spawn in places that are actually challenging to get to. Which is a good thing, they don't need to hand over every single one. There is nothing wrong with having the loot chests open from just one angle. It means you actually have to figure out how to get to some of them, adding an additional challenge, no spoon feeding or short cutting. They don't need longer half lives either, you just need to be patient and let your entire team get to the loot chest before you open it, like everyone else does. You have 20-30 seconds before it disappears, that's plenty of time if you wait for everyone in your group to get up there. Loot chests, shouldn't be a way to get gear drops, it would literally break the way that players grind for gear. All they would do is fight for chest, spawn camp them, and make it virtually impossible for people to just stumble across them exploring. So no, DO NOT make the gear better in chests. And there doesn't need to be more glimmer in chests, you get around 100-150 glimmer per chests. Plus occassionally you can get an item that you can turn in for 200 additional glimmer. Again, if you made it so that the best way to farm glimmer was from chests (it might be the best way now, but your idea would take it to extremes) then all anyone would ever do is farm chests. Which again, would completely break the game. 7. Mini-maps are completely unnecessary with the radar. If you learn how to use it properly then you'll do fine. It detects enemy locations, and keeps your objective on the compass. A general map that you could bring up and only shows what you've explored so far (in very general terms) would be find to help people get their bearings, but it doesn't need to be specific and detailed at all. This game is about exploring unknown territories and finding your way in the Wild. No having your hand held while you do it. 8. I do like this, I always have to ask my friends which ship is theirs, it would be nice if their names were associated with the ship they have. 9. I don't think they could make it to where you spawn directly on top of them, but I know you can can spawn fairly close to them at certain spawn points throughout the area. I think you're wanting more of these options. It isn't a terrible idea, but if it doesn't happen it won't break the game. 10. Inventory is private. It shouldn't be accessible by other players. I don't think any game allows this. If you want to see what your buddy has, have him send you a screenshot. Its a workable solution. If they were to keep item levels always visible it would need to be less noticable in my opinion. Basicially think of the "Level Requirement" notice as a "Requirement Not Yet Met" that will disappear once it does. Showing how much glimmer gear is worth and what other items you might get from it would be impossible because it functions off RNG. If you're that worried about it maybe that could implement a range of values and items that the piece of gear could be dismantled into? Seems like a decent solution. I would be okay with a notice for dismantling an exotic or legendary. Accidents do happen and it would suck to lose out on one of those because you happened to look away from the screen at the wrong time. Either that, or have the dismantling process take longer based on the rarity of the item. That way you'd know if something was up because its taking so long. As far as knowing whether you have a piece of gear and how many, its very unlikely you'll have exactly the same piece of gear of anything uncommon and up. They have different stat additions or abilities even if they are the same model, besides, our inventories and vaults don't hold so much gear that you should be drowning it in. And it is all rather organized already. These are my opinions on your opinions of how this game should be. I agree with a few, but I believe most of your ideas are flawed to some degree.

      • Just fix the servers tired of getting kicked or losing a teammate because of server crash also my ps plus ain't out i hate getting kicked and it tells me sorry you can't play because your ps plus is out it annoys the crap outta me if it ain't fixed in a month or so imma start using your game as a coster

      • Give Players some fun. Grinding isnt fun, and the whole loot System is only for stalling People down. with material Level and time Limits. Gunplay is solid, the AI not. So Bungie keeps juggling with "Balance" of the damage and bulletsponge numbers. With no customization pretty everyone ends up with the same gear. They could build shitloads of different weapons but they rather have the gayhorn. The game constantly insults teasing us with bigger guns just to have an "easier" grind, unless bungie introduces new farm materials or caps. This game is another test how much the Players take and decides Activisions future strategy. Prestige COD anyone?

        I dont think any of these fixes make any sense whatsoever in making Destiny better as a whole. How about adding content, cuz we are bored already.

      • The main solution that should be used is more updates to improve player player relationships,for if there is trading that can fix the issue with some people getting no exotics and making a matchmaking help service for the raid. Also it would be helpful if they made a reason for the ships in the game other than a loading screen, and finally they don't need to give one console something the other cannot attain for the same amount of money. P.S. make enemy dropships destructible

          • 1. Like the idea, just now sure how useful or used it would be. I think improved voice chat would make it a bit obsolete. 2. Hate this idea. While it would definitely be nice for the large groups, it would alienate the solo players. Sure, in the manner you described it seems pretty innocuous, but what about when it's farming materials or questing? You'd have an area cleared before the solo guy killed his first set of mobs or found his first chest. 3. No brainer from a player standpoint, but Bungie's prerogative is to get you to group with friends to play so I could see this one being debated internally for awhile. 4. Clan and Pre-made options please. Seems like an obvious addition somewhere down the road. 5. Ammo sure, Engram perhaps, Weapon hell no. 6. Fix placement, agree. Not duration though. How about just waiting for your teammate to get there before opening it? Not sure to what extent you'd want scaled gear from loot chests. You mention uncommon rifles, but what if you have all raid gear? If you have raid gear, finding some sort of equivalent gear in a random world chest should be insanely rare. I don't think the glimmer needs changing either, unless the glimmer cap increases. Maybe just decrease special and heavy weapon ammo prices a bit. 7. No brainer 8. No brainer. 9. I'm okay with the checkpoints. If you skipped half the mobs, that's your fault. 10. Disagree with transparent inventory. That feels a bit intrusive and is largely unnecessary. Agree with item levels remaining visible, but I guess I haven't really noticed. "Dismantles into:" isn't a bad idea. I'm not sure it's necessary though. If you want a piece of gear you keep it. If you don't, you dismantle it. How much does knowing whether you'll get 2 or 3 ascendant shards really affect your decision? I'd be fine with just decreasing dismantle speed on exotics and legendaries a bit further, but I don't think a warning prompt is necessary. Pay attention when you dismantle! Lastly, needing an inventory counter on gear just seems a bit lazy to me. I'll add a big one that's not original whatsoever, D-pad ammo hotbuttons.

            • One thing though, i need to point out a few minor details i've seen so far. There is some latency issues with the frame rate and looses resolution, for a second though and still noticeable. When in a fireteam, sometimes we experienced some loading time between spaces in the history missions and the explore mode as well and from the player's POV we saw how the other team member were kinda teleporting, sorta like energizing in Star Trek if you know what i mean. The servers need a little fix though, a team member on my fireteam was kicked from the game altogether because he was downloading from a torrent on his PC (as he explained it to me). Will the server have dedicated servers or is the wide band exclusive? he explained it like this: He was using his wide band for downloading on torrent from his pc and the game kicked him out from the game altogether and had to reboot his PS4. Hope DeeJ or someone can explain this or fix it please. The game is almost perfect except from those minor issues so far.

              • For me they can screw up anything they want but the sensitivity cap is a joke! I am elitist fps on bf4 and on destiny lvl 10 sensitivity is for beginners.. and an even bigger issue when you sprint your sensitivity drops EVEN MORE?? on all other ps4 fps the sensitivity doesn't change when sprinting and moving analog stick less to turn drops it if needed. I know you are new to playstation consoles but this sensitivity is for kids not veteran players. Please fix or I have to cancel pre order.

                  • I disagree with almost the whole damn post. No I will not share your ideas. No I wont make it more known to bungie. I tend to have a pretty low burning temper but you're a -blam!-. A child who wants this game to be as easy as your mom. Get the -blam!- outta here.
