I personally felt that some of the caves and Hive hideouts were a little dark, I would have loved to have been able to activate my Ghost's light to explore it more easily.
I believe that this feature should be implemented in the final game to allow the exploration of darker areas. It should be an on demand feature.

I always need to turn it on but it only turns on when scripted

I want my ghost to shoot lasers and tiny missiles. Ya tiny missiles that's the stuff.

and we could change the color of the lights and even add in a disco effect for are dance party's in the wastlands .

Still wholeheartedly agree!! Bump FTW

So much yes. I agree. I was with my friends and when we saw some places, we were deterred because of the darkness. It would be so brilliant if you could.
-
It should be assigned to the ghost. As of now only two buttons after summoning the ghost are being used("A" and "Y" for Xbox) so if it could be assigned to another, that'd be great. I'd like to be able to utilize most of the ghost'a abilities whenever I see them fit. "But you could just turn up your brightness." True, but I would like to have a jump scare every so often. It also makes the colors look too bright. It doesn't look as good when you have really dark and bright areas.
-
I disagree because in this type of game, it would waste a button slot. It comes on automatically when it's too dark. If you can't see, fix your brightness.

100% Agree. Just something simple like tap the back button to turn it on would be a nice thing.

I think your right, I found myself thinking the exact same thing

I agree, you need to be in control of the flashlight. Would also be kind of cool if some enemies are attracted to the light so say you were in a cave or out in the open at night, if you switch the light on enemies if they see it will come after you, would add some tension
-
I like it! It would be very cool and I could see a ton of people using that feature creatively. Maybe even in different colors. Strobe and disco ball mode for partys!!

Totally

A lot of the time I don't understand the logic behind the Ghost; so far it's only turned on in two areas, whereas in Hive infested areas, huge dark rooms and places where the pre-built lights don't show me where to go it doesn't appear. So I fully support the flashlight, as it prevents me bumbling around in the dark when there's absolutely no tension or scares to be found. If Bungie want to make atmospheric dark zones, they have to do more than keep my flashlight off.

How about for activation aim down sights and press up on the dpad. Or the melee button while ads.
