I didn't get any weapons, but i did get a legendary ship!

I enjoyed Iron banner, It was fun, but i only played about 6 games and won 4, And it gave me a level 20 Legendary hand cannon that does over 300 Damage, Sadly it has to go to my vault Because i cant use it :( But i also got a nice Cape.

1 ReplyIn my world - which isnt the world where parents no longer keep a scorecard for little league - rewards are handed out based on results and not through RNG or time invested. Political correctness, where everyone should be made equal, infected the gamer world a few years back and it hasnt been the same since, I doubt it'll ever be. Then again, this is a beta so who cares?

Something tells me that bungie recreated the desire god from Monster hunter. In that if you are looking for a weapon it will give you a class mod. Or if you looking for a handcannon you will get pulse rifles galore. Plus if you are kicking ass by the truck load you should get the legendary thing you are looking for.

The only stuff I got I had to buy with Glimmer. Bungie said do well and get stuff but the only people I ever saw get legendary stuff where at the bottom of the leaderboard and had shit score and k/d

I played about 10 games and never got anything Legendary or exceptionally awesome and I had a K/D of 10.0 on two matches. One guy got a legendary ship during one of those 10.0 matches and I got nothing!

I got legendary hand cannon in second round, I was far the best player in that round. Also, i completed 4 iron banner bounties and i took 2 more legendary items. That i can wear now...

I got my titan mark and 3 clan members for legendary guns as a whole we collected about 20 legendary pieces THANK YOU BUNGIE for a very fun even Clan went 9W 0L :)

6 RepliesI saw the 2 weakest players get a Legendary shotgun. Freaking sucks, I got on the top 3 alot of the matches and I got shit. A freaking uncommon arm piece that is weaker than my current one. Reward system in Iron Banner sucks. They better fix that.

4 RepliesBesides the Legendary loot rewards - I found the Iron Banner game mode much more fun than the standard Crucible. Everyone having unique Characters, Weapons and Armor stats that carried into PVP made the battle much more dynamic and interesting.

Obviously the good players should be rewarded for their troubles, but why shouldn't the not-so-good players be rewarded? It's not as if the majority insist on getting their asses handed to them if they can help it. Some players, such as myself, just aren't that good in competitive scenarios (yet) but we still enjoy mixing it up. There's probably a lot of new players too you've encountered say once, which was likely their first match. Either way I'd say it's good encouragement all around with how the loot is distributed, even if RNG is a monster. At least people are being rewarded...

1 ReplyI love that you are whining about getting something legendary... I played 20 games, was 1st or top 3 every single game.... Guess what, I never saw a single legendary let alone a single common.... So please, take your piss poor attitude elsewhere and enjoy it. It is a beta for crying out loud, none of this transfers.
