Please let bosses drop loot. I killed Sepiks several times and he never dropped loot. Just the Summary at the end. I think he should drop those shiny engrams.

You do get loot at the end of missions, as Sepiks goes. Granted, it never seems to be Uncommon/Rares, which tends to be kind of junky. It'd be nice to see some loot off the sub-bosses though. All those named guys, Walkers, etc. In the public events too (Although I have a shiny collection of "strange coins" from the mail service reward thing.

This. Even if it meant not getting spoils at the end, just have them drop minimum those 2 greens and maybe a drop rate for rarer items.
-
I would like that a lot

Totally agree with this , but not just bosses there should be more loot everywhere ! They should really take a page out of borderlands book and have guns and armor dropping all over the place. I realise the Beta is a very small part of the game but was very disappointed at how little loot i found overall.

Long boss battles should drop loot, agreed 100%

Edited by warcrimeald: 7/21/2014 4:04:28 AMI totally agree to put in all that work and not receive anything is a total jip. And if you do get loot please don't let it be the same thing over and over again. I'm so sick of getting the same stuff I already got.
-
They should definitely drop something. I think I got an engram from the Devil Walker once. Nothing from Sepik.

Edited by Dingo9012: 7/21/2014 5:41:55 AMEr...Sepiks Prime drops either House Banner which is worth 200 Glimmer from the Cryptarch or he drops Ether Seeds which give you 10 minutes of Bonus Glimmer from Fallen kills, both of which are a tiny, near invisible white triangle/pyramid at his death location...and you get 2 pieces of green loot after the end of the event handed to you...er, there's your loot for the encounter, what's your problem? Yes, Devil Walker and Nixis perhaps ought to drop something for killing them, and maybe a guaranteed Engram from the last boss would be nice (You hear me Bungie?), but you do get loot, cash and XP for completion, and the 3-7 engrams you can get if you're lucky throughout the whole of Devil's Lair is more than enough.

I hate how there is little to none loot dropped from bosses
-
Yes, they definitely need to drop some sort of loot, it's frustrating to go through all the trouble of killing a boss just to not be compensated for your time and effort.
-
Agree. It's really fun running through the Strike or events and fighting against big enemies. But I wish for (more) loot/drop too. Maybe I was blind so I didn't saw anything. Maybe it's possible to get only "big" loot for winning against, for example devil walker, the first time. The more often you kill it, the less loot it drops. Just to prevent boss farming.
-
Agree. I allmost never see loot drop from my kills. Its like ammo and are rare drops. Fix this.
-
Agreed.

skeptics drops those ember seeds which makes enemies drop more glimmer, helped me grind out 3000 glimmer at 11:45 pm for the iron banner items
-
I've picked up a uncommon engram from him a few times? Also some normals
-
I agree to a certain extent but also remember that at the end of Devil's Lair you are guaranteed two Green items at random and always find at least two Engrams during the Strike (I've found more, but my team always finds at least two).
-
I can agree to this, as a WoW/FF14 player I am used to getting atleast a good chance of a decent reward for downing a instance/raid. Gotta make people feel like their time investment is worth something or they wont invest the time. The D3 model where its all random all the time is one reason that game spurts then sputters super hard till the next expans comes through. Im still loving downing the bosses but it is a disappointing feeling never getting a drop :(
-
This is a great suggestion. I don't know why this isn't in the game already. If we don't get anything for defeating a boss then why bother even fighting them in the first place?
-
Agreed. They should take a lesson from Borderlands.
-
I have collected some rifle from Sepiks, but it was really weak...
-
Edited by singes: 7/21/2014 4:35:22 PMYou do get a reward for completing the Strike. Isn't that similar to Sepkis dropping loot? Also, I remember some pre-alpha footage (E3, maybe?) where there was a gameplay and a boss "dropped" a weapon. Perhaps it will happen in later boss fights?
-
I agree wholeheartedly. In a game were equipment seems to be alpha omega, loot should be more common.
-
I agree it's really frustrating when you kill a strong devil walker and it doesn't drop any loot!

I was going to post the exact same post totally agree with you #borderlandsisthebest
