I'll be honest, I'm excited for Destiny. Hell I'm still going through Alpha Withdraw symptoms. Yet over the past month I have seen nothing but utter drivel and constant rage on both sides of the aisle. "Oh mah gurrrd!! Der PS4 gettinz exkucivvvves!!! RAAAEEEEEG!!!" So what? They get some extra time and a few piddling hand outs. PS4 doesn't get to take all the cake. There are jerks there. Insulting as they are and whiny as they are, but really. When one crowd whines, it's going to bring more whiners with an opposing viewpoint. Right now, just stop it. It's ridiculous. I will take a very...VERY big guess here and say the majority of this community is of an average age of 25 or older...START ACTING LIKE ADULTS FOR THE LOVE OF THE TRAVELER!!!! My God, makes one wonder if they should remain in this place just to watch the world burn or bow out and find something else to do until the Beta and finally the game releases! The amount of vitriol and anger here is on-par with partisan politics on Capitol Hill. If this place were a train wreck in slow motion it'd probably have cinematography on par with a Michael Bay film! Or even better, a J.J. Abrams "Bloom Blinder!" Star Wars warmup party! I plead with both sides, pull yer heads out of yer own arses and treat each other like bloody adults! That or bow out and respect others want to just discuss the bloody game and have a good time with other like minded people. I wanted to come on here and discuss the world of Destiny, not listen to people on both sides of the aisle take shots at each other like backwoods hillbillies taking potshots at the roadsigns.
