I'm sure everyone is enjoying their time playing the Destiny Beta which I sure am! it will all come to an end July 27th where we then have to wait until 9-9-14 to pick up the official game. Now I am saddened by this because I enjoy playing the beta very much and I am very impatient to wait for this great game to come out! So why don't we the voice try and get the beta to stick around a little longer! Use the hashtag #PlayALittleMore to keep the beta around a bit longer. Spread the movement.

Ok so I admit I was mad how xbox one only got 4 days to play. But I remembered what some bungie developers had said "we want destiny to be the same experience on all consoles" the only difference between next gen and old gen for this game is graphics and Xbox one and ps4 will both run 1080p. Bungie is only supporting ps4 because well sony paid them. When the final game comes out it will be the same for everyone and that's what matters. But bungie don't forget halo and your history you have people here on bungie.net who have been here since the beginning.

Since I've yet been unable to get (or find) an answer to a specific question, thought I'd post here in the hopes [b]someone[/b] can answer (preferably simply & to the point, without any of the unnecessarily-rude remarks)... OveralI had a blast playing most of [i]Destiny Alpha[/i] and am looking forward to seeing what the [i]Beta[/i] has in store for us. But I said did "most"... While I [b]did[/b] enjoy the single-player campaign aspects -- and even enjoyed the co-op -- I thoroughly despised the multiplayer Crucible sections. So much so that I couldn't even bear to finish the first "Capture the Flag" whatever-it-was. Apologies, Bungie, I'm sure these are great for gamers who still like that sort of thing, but "Capture the Flag", "Deathmatch" and other similar MP gameplay quickly bored me to tears when it was actually new back in the 80s, time and fancied-up graphics haven't changed the experience for the better. I blame a combination of boring gameplay; too many horrible "randoms" as team members; along with years of game testing -- altogether, these so completely turned me off MP I can't play it to this day. I've tried various times over the years to see if anything changed -- and [b]did[/b] try in [i]Destiny Alpha[/i] -- but was quickly disappointed yet again... well, by everything except those gorgeous PS4 graphics =^) I quit the Crucible section and never returned to it, nor do I intend to. I know I'm not the only person out there who feels the same... (Bungie: Hope you don't take this personally, it's [b]not[/b] you -- it's just how I am: love single player; co-op can be fine with [i]the right people[/i]; and I [b]detest[/b] MP.) So my big question is this: is Crucible gameplay [b]mandatory[/b] in order to advance in the overall game, or is it optional? I know we need to earn Crucible points for Legendary Weapon purchases and whatnot, but I've managed to earn some in the [i]Alpha[/i] thru other methods (I think co-op strike missions, but am unsure). Anyway, if Bungie can answer this (since my question was left unanswered on the [i]Alpha[/i] forum) or someone else in the know, I'd appreciate it. Hope "optional" is the case here, because I do think all other portions of the gameplay were FABULOUS! However, it the Crucible area [b]is[/b] in any way mandatory, I'd like to know [i]before[/i] release date so I can cancel my order. No point in my playing a game I could never finish or advance too far in, no matter how fab the other earlier parts may appear at first. I have been a bungie fan since the first halo and played every halo game u guys made as once I heard you guys were making destiny I was so happy and I would like to say thank you for allowing me to play the alpha beta of your new game destiny and I'm also happy to be in the beta on July 17. On the day after [7 times 2], I see this. I am pleased with your progress. [spoiler]Your next stage is to integrate with Valve. World Domination is assured.[/spoiler] However, for BOTH Playstation'ers and Xbox'ers, I would like to see the option to 'extend' our existence if we played on all the Beta days *, regardless of console. [spoiler]However, in order to Dominate, you -MUST- expand the 7th. You -WILL- need to integrate Valve, Blizzard, yourselves, EA, and yourselves, to create the ultimate game.[/spoiler] [spoiler]This game will be a Sandbox. This sandbox will allow other players to import their own content, with approval. This game will be MMO; in terms of ease-of-connection. If said player, on a console, has a game (Crysis, Halo, Mass Effect, Defiance, Destiny...), they could import any/all models and pose them and photo them. This content can be uploaded directly from the console onto Bungie.net/Server Alpha. When you do think of such a towering, flexible, multi-purpose project, you -WILL- require the other companies to support it. The game will be THE future, where everyone can create or destroy. A tool for all purposes. A thing which can integrate to ALL consoles, and could come with it's own model editor as to adapt other game models (see earlier) to work in said game. Alternatively, you could ask Valve if you and your 7th could meddle with Garry's Mod, Gmod, that is an example of my vision, THE FUTURE of games, where all will be from one. This vision will be a planetary undertaking, requiring massive co-operation between entire companies just to allow it to even exist as an idea. It's like trying to build a Sovereign-Class Reaper in real life, only digital.[/spoiler] Now, forgive me, those whom know that I siege all forums, with vast amounts of raw [text]. [spoiler]*For Xbox'ers, I think they get their week of play later than Playstation'ers, assumably, since PS'ers get Beta on 17th, it ends on 26th, so I suppose Xbox'ers get it 23rd, ends on 31st? Yesterday was Bungie day. And what did we do with it? We fought over which system is better and how its unfair and how Xbox was here first. But none of that matters we are a community and were all here for the same thing to learn about and play an awesome game. I'm not afraid to let Playstation into the community we were strong but now were stronger with them. We should be working with each other not against each other so please stop fighting and learn from each other help each other and make us stronger!

Way to f xbox players in the a bungie. I've bin a bungie supporter on xbox since halo first hit. I know your pissed about Microsoft taking halo just like everyone else is fing pissed about it. But you don't hav to f us like this. I've bin waiting for this game since I heard of it and now this. What the release date Guna be putted 3months back for xbox only. I have been playing Halo since 2001, when I was 7 years old. Now, 13 years later, Bungie is turning their back on me? Bungie is the main reason I started gaming! I love you Bungie, but y'all need to think about what is going on.

I've really missed this. Coming on Bungie.net, checking out what's going on. I must admit, I've strayed from Bungie. Back in the days of Halo 2, 3, ODST and Reach, I would check for updates regularly. During Bungie's dark period though (in my mind, the time frame since Reach's last update by the supreme 7th power), I rarely visited. I've turned my back, so much so, that this is the first year I completely missed Bungie day, the holiest of holies, the mythical beast of creation. That was a wake up call. I look forward to locking myself in my house and playing Destiny for hours on end, with the same friends I've played the relative classics with. In other words, I've missed you, Bungie. It's been too long, and I'm glad you're coming back. I guess I should get a PS4.
