One topic that seems to come up here and there is transferring your character between platforms and generations of consoles. Currently, it has been confirmed that we can transfer characters between generations. If you start a guardian on the Xbox 360, you will be able to play that same guardian on the Xbox One, should you ever decide to upgrade. The same goes for the Playstation. But what if you wanted to upgrade to an entirely new platform. Currently I believe that we will not be able to transfer a Guardian from Xbox 360 to Playstation 4, and vice versa. But will it be possible in the future? I certainly believe it will be. Why? In Grand Theft Auto V if you have an online character, you will not only be able to play your character when you switch from the original game to the re-makes on XBO and PS4 this fall, but you will also be able to migrate cross platform. If you own GTA V on Xbox 360, and you upgrade to a PS4 and get the New and Shiny GTA V, you can bring your online character with you. I think that this says volumes about where games are headed in the future. So fear not Guardians. There is still hope!
