Unfortunately, that was the whole issue. The fact that Microsoft couldn't show anything meaningful with Kinect doomed it from the start. Sure, the voice commands are nice and all (IMO), but that along wasn't enough.

The voice commands don't even work properly.

They do for me. In all honesty, it's hit or miss.
