I think that at this point comic books are pointless. They should just make animated series based on the superheroes. They don't have to be terribly long, like 10-15 minutes. I think they could be pretty popular considering the resurgence of the superhero movie.

No more pointless than regular books.

Yep. I'm not saying books in general are pointless, but printing them on paper is, just like it is with comic books. It's archaic, sales are going down, and it's bad for the environment.

I use a Kindle and I would love to see comics on my Kindle.

Comics are far from pointless, sir. I've spent thousands of dollars on them this past year and I'm sure some people have spent way more. Also, the digital comic scene is quickly blooming.

So because you like comics they're not pointless? Look at comic sales now compared to what they were years ago. They're dying because hardly anyone buys them anymore.

So just because sales are dwindling, they're pointless?

Yes. Think about it from an ecological standpoint. Comic books would be some kind of animal that's being outcompeted by other animals. Maybe they don't exactly deserve to die off, but that won't stop it from happening. Survival of the fittest.
