I used to love Playstation a whole bunch all the way from PS2-PS3 afterwards I bought an Xbox One and enjoy it for the exclusives. I'm now looking into PC to play its exclusives and games that are ultimately better on it

Owned every Playstation, loads of nintendos, 360 and now I'm looking into a steam box when they roll around
-
How about you get the one that costs 6,000, hey 100 tb of storage! Please don't buy one, the prices on these things are mostly ridiculous. You'd think the most expensive one would have the best hardware on the market but no, it has like 32 tb of storage.
-
Yeah I'm not going to buy one at launch, wait till the hype is over and the prices get lowered
-
Yea if the cyberpower one goes to $400 then that's worth it I guess.
-
Yeah that one looks really nice too, I don't need a really fast PC, mainly be used for college work and then some light gaming with low resolution, graphics don't matter much to me, much prefer the mechanics of a game running smooth. Any other recommendations?
-
Not really, the cyberpower is the only good one really, I think it has an R9270 which is probably a bit above whats on the ps4/x1.
-
Going to save that one and keep an eye on it, thanks appreciate the info
I'm looking into a steam box when they roll around
Oh god why?

I need a PC for college, not a lot of space available so for convience and don't like laptops, have an iPad for portability
-
So you're going to buy an over-priced pre-built PC?
-
It needs to be easily upgradable and cost not a lot to begin with, one of the cheaper models would do fine, I don't want a big PC rig taking up space
-
I'm guessing you assume that PCs cost $1000+ for anything decent. You can build a PC for $500, that will out perform the $500 Steam Machine. And you can get a micro ATX case. I'm just giving you advice.

Edited by Jordy: 2/16/2014 9:47:28 AMYeah thanks, I'm mostly aware but I live in Ireland where there is not a lot of choice on components, so I would have to import probably and we have a sales tax of 23%. Ideally I go on holiday to USA again, last time I purchased an iPad mini for 350$ as to 339€ which works out 450+$.
