I've seen 2 follower begging threads total. Moving it won't do anything I'd think.

I've seen enough to run out of fingers. Some are from the same users, others are not. This is over time. As stated in various places in this thread, this isn't a site breaking issue that requires immediate attention. It's just feedback.
