  • It sure seems like a lot; I'm not interested in the game at that price. BUT, I still think that if they think they can get away with charging that much, they should. However, it honestly needs to be one of the greatest (if not THE greatest) MMORPGs ever created -- and continue to remain so -- in order to justify that price on an ongoing basis. If it lives up to expectations, I would happily pay that much for the game + subscription. But either way, I imagine a price drop will occur quickly. The initial $60 price will be good to hook in the hard core TES and Bethesda fans who would pay any price for the game as well as the hard core MMORPG guys who want to get in and level up ASAP in order to have an advantage over players who join the game later. After a little while, they'll have to lower the price for folks who like playing MMOs but are more used to a straight-up subscription model or even F2P. I'm not judging or condemning Bethesda for this. The folks who will purchase the game at $60 initially are the people who would have done so anyway, and I've purchased many games before at $60 that I played for less than a month. This doesn't seem all that outrageous, and to the extent it turns you off, I'd suggest just waiting for a price drop.
