• I would consider the game with only the monthly fee.

    • It sure seems like a lot; I'm not interested in the game at that price. BUT, I still think that if they think they can get away with charging that much, they should. However, it honestly needs to be one of the greatest (if not THE greatest) MMORPGs ever created -- and continue to remain so -- in order to justify that price on an ongoing basis. If it lives up to expectations, I would happily pay that much for the game + subscription. But either way, I imagine a price drop will occur quickly. The initial $60 price will be good to hook in the hard core TES and Bethesda fans who would pay any price for the game as well as the hard core MMORPG guys who want to get in and level up ASAP in order to have an advantage over players who join the game later. After a little while, they'll have to lower the price for folks who like playing MMOs but are more used to a straight-up subscription model or even F2P. I'm not judging or condemning Bethesda for this. The folks who will purchase the game at $60 initially are the people who would have done so anyway, and I've purchased many games before at $60 that I played for less than a month. This doesn't seem all that outrageous, and to the extent it turns you off, I'd suggest just waiting for a price drop.

      • That monthly fee is a huge turn off. Like in the middle of sex you find out she has a STI and a secret penis she used to stick it in your bum thinking it was her finger. Ugh.

              • You would think the game would cost about $30-$40 because of the fee that cost more than PS Plus and Live combined for a year. It's not going to be long before the sub fee gets cut in half and then goes F2P for the the consoles at least.

              • Who knew $180 a year was too much to spare? Add your XBL PSN Sub/price of game for retail. A bit more. But nothing to worry about. Really can't spare that? People complain about paying $15/Month to play a game that needs money for new content and servers but accept paying $5/Month just to play any game online?

Bought Ryse instead and finished paying off Destiny pre order.
i think I made the right choice
So many great games to play with no extra fees. Unless I decide to spend the money( dlc)

                        • So to play a game most people have said is boring, you need to pay $60 initially, then $180 a year, on top of the $60 for PSN and XBL. So to play this game for one year, you're spending $300

Alright, unpopular opinion time. I'm going to get the game. My basic logic behind the choice is that it has a month long trial period, and I usually don't play games for more than a month at a time. So it's basically like paying for any other game. Now if I want to keep playing, or return after a hiatus, then that's a problem. However, subscription cards make a pretty good holiday or birthday gift. So this might come back to bite me, or it might work out really well
