If 2 Spartans Were to Have a Child ...

Do you think the Spartans augmentations would have any effect on their offspring? If so, what would the outcome of it be do you think? [Edited on 08.27.2012 3:31 PM PDT]

Didn't Maria retire and have a family in Korea?
I was thinking along the lines of Maria when I posted this. But I don't think Spartans are allowed to quit the program.
I'd always assumed she was on a special mission from ONI, settled down and knock out a few kids just to see if anything does transfer. At least that's the best I can come up with to explain why a perfectly good Spartan wouldn't take part in an on-going war for humanity's very survival.
Sigh. you don't 'quit the program'. You retire from the UNSC. Yes, it's be damn rare to see happen, but I don't see it as being impossible. "Perfectly good spartan" We don't know the details. And the likelyhood is, Maria fought in the battle of Earth.
Well she was obviously fit enough to test out the Chief's armour so I doubt there was anything physically wrong with her. And I didn't say she quit the program.
You know this guy is right. Maria jumped from low orbit and took on ODST and won while testing the Mark.VI and don't use the maybe she has PTSD. Would you give the most advanced and deadly armor to somoen who has PTSD or something along those lines? -Nate'
