I really hope they turn it around but I have to base my expectations on my experience. So far 343 has not done anything that makes me think that they will do anything but make Halo even worse.

I felt that Halo 4's TU was a step in the right direction. And the Legendary gametypes were pretty good, from what I played. I think they definitely have the potential to make a great Halo game. They just need to have one coherent vision as to what they want to do with the game (Halo 4 reeks of executive meddling and too many cooks spoiling the broth), and stick to Halo's arena shooter roots.

Totally agree. The potential is there, they just need direction and focus. The meddling is just ridiculous. A camel is a horse designed by committee. Halo 4 is a camel.

It's a sad day when we can do nothing but dread the coming of the next Halo.

Its come down to my optimistic side vs my realistic side. I really want to play a good Halo game again, but I just can't place much faith in 343.
