I'm not going to beg for followers, you know why? Because the majority of the people here are idiots, specifically in offtopic. They are amazed at gimmicks and cheap parlor tricks. They are sheep, being led by a inebriated Shepard into a busy highway. To have a great amount of followers would mean these idiots find me appealing; I wouldn't want that now would I?

  • No, I'm not butthurt; What I am is disappointed in this community. The community doesn't acknowledge the people that try to make it better. They acknowledge those that appeal to the lowest common denominator. Rather then thanking and following those that develop userscripts/userstyles, they would rather follow someone that roleplays. Rather then following the people that are able to create amazing artwork for this community, they would rather follow someone that signs their posts or speaks in the third person. Rather then posting in the threads that have discussion value, they would rather bump the threads of one of the biggest idiots in the site as you can see in the above pic. You know, I see so much complaining from time to time about the state of the site, how the moderators need to do something or how the mute feature isn't a good substitute. But you want to know what I think is the problem? Why the site seems to get worse by the day? It's the anti-intellectualism that runs rampant here. They are amazed by the gimmicks; the roleplaying, the signatures, the third person speak, the threads about WWII Russia. Rather then acknowledging those that try to contribute here, they are treated like nobodies, being called "that guy" rather than by their username. This community as a whole has a problem and they would rather bitch about it and expect the moderators to do something rather then taking some damn responsibility for this site's state.

  • You know that people act like that for fun right? It's entertainment and is fun.
