Have you reached a decision? i haven't.
i hoped on bungie.net today, hoping to pre-order destiny and get that beta code to enjoy this seemingly awesome game, but then i hit a wall. i came to the pre order screen and it asked me a question.
Playstation 4.
or Xbox one.
so have you guys made up your mind? if so, could you tell me the deciding factor to help me decide for myself.?

Sorry I guess I didn't elaborate. This thread isn't really about the beta. Its about the next gen consoles.

Where are your friends going and what exclusives do you want that is my question for you. There is little things like the destiny timed exclusive and such, of course but for exclusives the main shooter exclusives for ps4 is killzone shadow fall (sci fi game that has great graphics) and planetside 2 (A free to play sci fi game that has more scale then battlefield, with faction based non stop pvp action, 2000 players per continent) and for xbox one we have titan fall (a fast pace mech shooter which has a lot of cool parkour features that are awesome and mechs for a variety of gameplay) and halo 5 (you now as much as I do buddy) For me personally I am getting a ps4 because my friends are getting it and nothing was holding me to xbox anymore (halo for me was ruined for me with 4) and I like the large variety of free games on ps4 (like planetside 2) But don't let my decision sway you get what your friends are getting and the console that has the exclusives you like

Both consoles are kind of a tough sell at launch, but I would be more willing to get the Xbox One. I'm seriously considering getting a PS3 as "next gen" console though. It has a massive catalog of exclusives: MGS, LittleBigPlanet, Infamous, GoW, Uncharted, Jak and Daxter, Beyond, and The Last of Us. But since I'm planning on getting games like Destiny for an actual next-gen console, I'd need to see if it's worth spending on the PS3.

I've pretty much decided to get a PS4 out of principle, because I don't like how Microsoft handles a lot of things. not getting either at launch tho

Just stick with the same type of brand you went with last gen, or whatever one you have more progress on. Also see what your friends are getting. That helps too.

1 Replyive put money down on Xbox one and some games for Xbox one, but depending what my friends get i may change that. i like what both consoles have to offer and the line-up for games they have. so it comes down to what my two best friends get because i don't want to game alone, when you share the experience with friends it makes it 10x better.
