My parents are super freaks about m games they barely let me play original call of duty two because i kill people in it! I can play halo so do you think it's gonna be as close of a rating as it gets to halo

It will be almost m
-
I know it sucks, but it most likely won't be rated anywhere near Mature.
-
Activision want to sell it as widely as possible ... so the game has been made very "kid friendly". Take a look at the "Wolf Pack" video to see that in play. The 3 heros are surrounded by enemy, no cover, no armor ... and yet they take down dozens of enemy, many behind shields ... and all this with a pistol, and not a single scratch. Its got all the violence of a kiddies comic book.

Same here bro. I'm 19 but my parents say if I want to play rated M games, I can move out...i like not having to pay rent :P so I'm at home having to get creative and find games that arent rated M

Edited by Matt71: 8/19/2013 1:58:24 AMI could be wrong, but the level of detail and violence, but lack of gore, leads me to think a 'T' rating is within possibility. Games like the Uncharted series helped to kill the stigma that used to be 'Teen' rated for myself

In an interview with joe staten (or Jason jones) I heard he was aiming for a T rating. He said he plays destiny with his son and has claimed to hav said the violence isn't too graphic.
-
If your parents control your gaming experience, your too young for destiny.

Edited by Ezimatana: 8/20/2013 8:17:56 PMIn the halo games, I believe there's a setting to adjust mature content, basically making it more of a T rated game. You can turn blood and gore off, aswell as crude language I believe in some halo games. This might be similar. It will be an M rated game though.

In addition to the normal (M or T) version of Destiny, I'm hoping they will have two other rated versions. A XXX version where everyone is nude or wears transparent armour, they fornicate with everything, curse, swear, make obscene gestures at your fellow players and you have to beat aliens to death with large plastic marital aids. And then a 5 year old and under (or 85 years and older) version - where you walk around, lightly hit cuddly aliens with soft pillows, eat some cookies and then have a nap. With these 3 versions available, Bungie will corner the Game market and be well on their way to Ultimate World Domination. Have a surreal day..

It'll be rated D for
#TheD
-
I hear it'll be rated
#destiny
-
Well, that depends entirely on how well Destinies A to L do.
-
lolscrub, get older. In all fairness, I needed my mommy to come with me to get Halo 2. But now I'm a man. They always let me play any game I wanted because I was a good boy.
-
No, it will be rated G. For...
#Gaming
HEUHEUHEUHEU

#destiny #gaming

Yes u can bang teh alienz
-
get a friend to buy it. I think if it has a gun/killing or any sexual themes it gets an m.
-
The good news is that if its M and your parents don't give in you've got 10 years minus the difference of your age to 18 to nag them. So there's that.
-
Guh...
-
Yes. Just tell your parents it's gonna be rated M like Halo.
-
Nope. It will be rated B. For Bungie.
-
Esrb has Destiny labeled anticipated rating Mature and anticipated pegi 18 as well
-
Hopefully it rated M
-
Edited by BritLemon: 8/21/2013 11:06:13 PMBungie don't rate the game.

Bungie don't rate the game, the ESRB do (in the USA), and PEGI in Europe.
