GoL Clan Ship
Now, as im sure many of you realize, if Destiny has some type of clan system, GoL will definitely be in that mix.
So i came across this thread on clan/guild ships. What are your thoughts on it? The general concept is for each Clan to have its own "mothership" if you will, and it could hover in orbit around a planet or moon. It would be a place where clan members could come and be a community. Also, it could engage in battles with people at individual battle stations. An idea i had is if we have our own ships, during these major battles, we could even have our personal ships in the fray.
Im curious as to what you guys think about this...

definite yes for me, the idea of this just makes me think of Star Wars battlefront 2 and how much fun the space combat in that game was. I'm really looking forward to being able to manually fly a personal space ship.

3 RepliesThat would be really cool. Hopefully if anything it'll be like Star Wars battlefront 2. Some of the best space combat iv played. It would be totally epic if there were huge space battles that you could participate in (not like SWTOR, again lame) Unfortunately I feel like that would take a lot of development time and they haven't shown it off yet. If they're gonna release it next year I feel like they won't have time to put that feature in :/

5 RepliesI think it would be a great addition! But for some reason I don't see it happening. Maybe, depending on if you can get money from doing quests and killing enemies like in Borderlands, they should allow players to donate money to a clan fund to finance clan projects like constructing new headquarters. Perhaps each clan could start out with a HQ building in the Last City, then as they accumulate money they could expand to larger buildings, then maybe a heli-carrier type HQ, then a orbital space station, then ultimately a mothership that could move from planet to planet.
