So I was looking at the artwork for Destiny today and I noticed this image. Now I'm sure we've all seen this image before, but I never really looked at it at face value. Now, if this image is an accurate representation of what a Warlock can do in-game, then I will be really impressed and might just end up switching my main to warlock. Tell me what you guys think! Could this be some form of proof for pyromancy? And if so, will we be able to unleash fire at the magnitude depicted in this artwork?

Also I would just like to point out that that Hunter is lookin' pretty badass
-
what about the giant horned guys in the background?!???!?

I'm just thinking aloud, magic (what are they even calling it in this game? Travelerjuice?) in Destiny had better be powerful, a viable alternative to guns. Being a squishy mage in Skyrim was a convoluted joke. Damage fell off way too quickly and didn't scale properly. Travelerjuice doesn't have to be all damage based, but the effects of its use should be noticeable and significant. Fire, for example, was rare in Halo 3, but very dangerous.

You used that statement wrong... Looking at something at only face value means to not look at it in a more detailed manner... So by saying you never looked at it at face value means you've never seen the image...
-
Fireballs, huh? Yes I want to throw those hadouken.
-
I really hope the warlock can be like a medic
-
it would be even more pyromantic if a titan would be able to get his hand on an all out badass flame thrower... Imagine that feel with some clutch ^
-
I kinda want the warlock to have an "acid rain" spell. That would be boss.
-
I'm more of a Cryomancy man myself, but that's irrelevant. While this picture isn't definite confirmation of fire 'magic', it strongly implies that it'll be there.

Edited by I Hooded Rat I: 6/8/2013 8:37:13 PMWarlock seems boss i hope there are multiple skill trees to specialize in different forms of magic, electricity, fire, purple/dark doom magic like in the law of the jungle video
-
That would be consistent with Bungie's statement about magic feeling like hitting someone with a piece of the sun. Though I guess that is sustained nuclear fusion-mancy? Either way, awesome
-
Also this!
-
Bungie did say playing the Warlock was like punching your enemies in the face with a piece of the sun...I'm going to assume fire is involved
-
Needs more hemomancy.
-
Damn that would be cool as hell.
-
There is a different picture which also show's the warlock using his magic for a shield to protect him and just like in that picture the titan and the hunter. But to be fair to the other two classes in both of them they arn't showing off their stuff. But in the latest video you saw the hunter basically implode those enemies with a pistol. So i wouldent be surprised if they showed off the titan alot at the presentation at E3.

Fire! hehehe Fire! Burn! = Warlock
-
I already am a warlock and you should too cause they are awesome
-
From what little rid puts I saw I think warlocks make balls I energy that can be unleashed in there enemy's but not totally sure
