First, I want you to see the commercial linked. Some of you have probably already seen it. Social Media - I don't mind social media, I use it from time to time. Some people like it, some don't. To each their own. But what does that commercial really say about people nowadays? It's becoming a bit common in where you go out, let's say you're sight seeing or on vacation, and people's head's are down. Constantly. Their minds are elsewhere, they aren't enjoying or taking in their current location, and are instead enjoying the very same thing that they would be doing if they just stayed home. When I first saw that commercial, if anything it made me a bit worried as to what point we are getting to. Am I alone on this? Share your thoughts. Do you have any friends or family like this and how do you feel about it?
I thoroughly enjoy social media, but I also like to be able to go without it. At times it's extremely constricting, and let's face it; why would you want to pass up on some purely amazing, breathtaking, captivating events like huge meteor showers just to see what someone tweeted about that holds little impact value to us?
