Go ahead and flame for pondering on this, but it struck me that the site may have something to do with PlayStation. The apples are located so that they form a triangle, the circle are down there by the root, and with all the branches there's bound to be the X and square shape as well. Also, the latin text says something about "ludent", which is a form of "ludere" meaning "to play", and "spatio" have been translated as "space", but may also be related to "station": www.dictionary.com defines "station" as "A place or position where a person or thing stands or is assigned to stand", which is basically the same as "hoc spatio" meaning "this space". I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft is going to announce some kind of cooperation with Sony, perhaps a system that lets Xboxers and PlayStationers play against eachother.
