EIGHTY dollar service charge?!!?
There's no way I can spare another 80 dollars for this MS BS.
For no reason at all a few days ago my XBox video was very fuzzy, barely visible on my TV. It got progressively worse as I tried to adjust the AV cable. Finally I gave in and bought a new cable, and the same thing occured, fuzzy, sometimes not even appearing. I tried my XBox on three TVs, all the same. XBox Customer "Service" simply said it would be 80 dollars to repair because my three month warranty expired two months ago. Does anyone know why this is happening, or if there's any home repairs I could do?

Well my input plugs on my T are dying, so whenever the picture starts to fuzz/mess up/become discolored/go out, i just rotate the AV plugs until the picture comes back. And if I can't get it to work... I just try to imagine what's happening to me by the sounds coming from the screen. X-box live doesn't work too well without a picture. [Edited on 4/19/2005]
