Post Bumping
Not sure if this was posted before, but to get rid of people bumping their own post when no one else responds to it, just take off the reply button for a person's own post, and that way, they can't reply but they can still edit.

This is a truley good idea. Not only does this stop someone from bumping their own post (unless it was good enough to get at least one aknowlegement) but it will also draw attention to the edit post button, and put an end to double posting. There is never a good reason to double post. If you can't say what you have to say in 10,000 characters, I don't want to read it!
