So I'm going to play poker tomorrow night with a psychiatrist from work and his buddies.
I haven't played much with real people, only once.
If anyone has any advice that would be sweet, I'm intimidated.
I'm afraid the psychiatrist will be able to read me like a book. He's like Dr Spock.

Don't bluff. If you are not use to playing in person, you will not get away with it when it matters. Trust your guy. Your subconscious will pick up on tells better then looking for them. Some basic tells go a long way. If someone is quiet they will get talkative when they have it and vice versa. If someone is bouncing their foot a lot (aka happy feet) then they more then likely have a good hand. Chewing is a sign that they normally don't have anything and the body does it as a sorta internal defense tactic. Like how animals show their teeth. A bunch of other stuff I can't think of right now. . .
