wtf bungie why is it that so many ppl are failing to load maps now it seems like everytime i join a party someone fails to load the map i hate you bungie thank you for messing up a good thing.

Really awful thing to do. Now not good players must get destroyed until the good players get high rankings again. Way to take the fun out of it.

1) BS making the new maps mandatory to enjoy matchmaking, as I have tried several times on both my 360 and regular xbox, and I cannot download the maps. So now I can't play most of XBOX live. VERY FRUSTRATING 2) To the butt-clown that whined about the ranking reset, saying he's "now WASTED 4000+ HOURS OF MY LIFE".... dude, the ranking reset didn't waste 4000 hours, sitting on your fat ass all day playing video games did. Do you really think having that rank gave your pathetic life that much meaning? I mean seriously, when you go on an interview, do you think your boss is turning you down because you can't prove your rank? No, he's turning you down because you're brain-rot. Seriously, video games are fun... I play for a couple of hours a few nights a week. but 4000 hours? that's 4 hours a day for 2 years and 9 months. Get a life, dude.

I never thought i'd say this, but Bungie you are lame. I will not renew my xbox membership that i've had for the last 3 years under multiple accounts, and i will not purchase Halo 3 even though i have a preorder. Why would you ruin Big Team Battle? You are alienating yourself from some of your most hardcore supporters. I consider myself a die hard fan, and have played everyday for the past year and half. My game is BIG TEAM BATTLE, and by resetting the ranks, you have completely RUINED the quality level of the games. People playing with guests ALWAYS quit immediately, and nobody tries in the absense of rank. You have ruined gaming for me, Halo was the only game that I could play for more than a day without getting bored. I am NOT the only person that feels like this. You will lose my entire clan's worth of Halo 3 purchases, and possibly more. Uhm Bungie this is kinda bull Crap if you know what I mean. I can't play more than 4-8 games then I start getting errors that FAILED TO LOAD MAP. Yet when I go to Content DOWNLOAD I can't get into it to download any of the maps now. SO WTF???? HELLO!!!!!!!!!!! Now I can't even play Halo 2 anymore because I only get frustrated with it. When I used to play it for fun and to relax just killing people. This is upsetting and a bunch of BS if you know what I mean. I can't play ranked games anymore. Also as a computer science major I can't believe you haven't instructed anyone who is having problems with the map updates on here to delete their blastacular maps from their main dash, under memory, where they manage their saved games. your new content will patch/over write the old map pack, without payment/credit card info and it takes about 3 minutes. the process takes the content marked for deletion and rescues it and updates. it's what I had to do to get my maps to update.

While attempting to contact the only support available for the Blastacular maps NIGHTMARE these past few days.. weeks actually, which is currently only provided by the staff at 800-4MY-XBOX, I've learned quite a bit about this problem.. 1.) The past few days... When you call that number the odds are high that you will wait on hold for 10 minutes or so, only to hear a message that explains "Sorry, unfortunately due to higher than normal call volume, we are unable to take your call right now." "Click". They hang up on you. 2.) Today... I waited on hold twice for 15-20 minutes listening to onhold musac and then... no message.. simply "Click" hung up on again. 3.) When I did actually speak to a human yesterday... Microsoft Xbox Live Support staff explained that Bungie turned off their support line long ago due to the tremendous call volume.. 4.) Go try to search for this problem at xbox.com.. You will only find one article about the Blastacular maps (last review April 25th) which says nothing about any problem.. and does not provide any form of support.. and the only information here on Bungie's site is buried in these forums.. Bungies weekly updates state that they've solved the problem(s). ------------------------------ Clearly MS is doing their best to keep this problem under the public radar.. Bungie passes on their weekly "Hey, we've fixed the problem" messages with no follow through.. They explain that it is not their problem... I challenge anyone to visit ~any~ affiliated website including xbox.com to find ONE comment about this problem.. Not a solution.. Just a single comment.. Believe me, I've tried.. and it does not exist. I am not trying to be cruel, or to point fingers.. I've been patient, and have waited since they were released.. and then re-released.. and then after Bungie claimed that the problem has been fixed.. twice.. All I want to know is when/if it will be possible to PAY you and download the new maps.. Does anyone know?!? Microsoft Xbox Live support does not know.. If you do want spend the time to wait on hold with them, I guarantee that this is what you will hear.. "Sorry, we are aware of the problem.. Unfortunately right now we do not have a solution".
