So after changing my avatar 3 times in the past 24 hrs, (it'll probably change again throughout this thread) I thought 'why doesn't bungie give us older members new avatars/upload your own'.
I know for obvious reasons uploading avatars are not permitted, but I feel that for those who have been here for 2-3 years minimum should be granted permission to do so. I highly doubt someone who's been here that long will go and upload nudes and take the ban.
If that doesn't sound like a good idea, how about pre-approved avatars. Much like how you get titles, you can get avatars. Simple enough.
I know this probably won't happen, but just a suggestion. I think this would have had a better chance happening a few years ago, but what the hell. YOLO, right?
I just hate not being able to find my post right away and/or being confused by another user with the same avatar.
EDITITED: New Idea
In order to prevent the 'elitism' that is sucha big deal devote a good junk of the 'older members' to a team that is responsible for approving avatars. Each 'avatar mod' is assigned an avatar change request, and if they let one slip, they can lose their privileges (Obviously in the web coding you can say what user went to what 'mod').
To stop abuse and keep a steady pace on accepting/denying avatars, make it so you can only change your avatar every 48 hours, or something along those lines.
New thoughts?

I don't see how second accounts do anything to account age, it's not like making a second account will stop your old account from being made in the past. You old account will still be old, you just have a backup.
Posted by: Lobster Fish 2 I was going to mention you but seeing that you've posted I don't need. I, along with members like dazarobbo, like the idea of giving account age some meaning (cut down on second accounts, etc).
