i cant download the maps im trying to download them and it just says transaction failed you will not be charged. my card isnt expired btw any help?

this is retarded. i got a message for an update which I accepted. Now My maps are damaged? I re-downloaed (and paid again) for them and still saying they are damaged and need to re-download. I do this and nothing happens. Beyond frustrated!

This is terrible I'm broke right now and cant hardly feed myself. If I dont purchase these stupid maps all I can play is UNRANKED games screw the maps put more ranked games for people who are 2 broke to get these maps. This is like a scam I pay for xbox live to play now you impose new content and basically take away everyones service WHY DID I GET XBOX LIVE. Was satisfied until you took away the ranked games freaking pirates. Before maps released there were plenty of gametypes now there are only like 8 and 6 of them are blocked I feel scammed.

I've tried everything everyone has suggested on these and other forums and still no luck with downloading the maps (installation failed message) - checked credit card (valid), wiped cache and halo 2 folder and redownloaded everything. Tried MS support via email (no response) and via phone (sorry busy will call you back, er still waiting). I would appreciate it if someone just said, sorry some 360s can't receive the new maps, here have your money back! How hard can it be for someone just to acknowledge the problems? Any other suggestions?

this is cr*p im a 360 owner and i dont pay using a credit card. surely by now the majority of halo players have purchesed a 360 by now . Bungie should of charged original xbox owners the fee and let the 360 users download the maps for free. This may seem a little bias but i am a little annoyed that my favourite game Type (Team Snipers) requires the new maps to play. Thanks for reading Agent Tiger

I can't download the new maps again! I downloaded them no prob the first time,after they reset the levels,I CAN"T RE-DOWNLOAD THEM!I hav tryed everything,I can only play big team battle now,it says I haven't downloaded some maps,and I have even played tombstone and desolation in custom but it still won't let me play,PLEASE HELP Me!!!

Now it's going again. I apologize. Don't know if this is going to help yet though. I think it's mainly due to my default CC info being on an expired CC #. I use a new one, but the 360 always asks for the old one first.

UH!!!! I've got a huge problem!! I have a 360 and i got my live using a prepaid card that wont expire for about 6-7 months. so now i have it set up so that it will auto charge my credit card when the prepaid is used up. So now i thought, ok now it will see the credit card and will charge it for the maps. So now i got to the download i click purchase and guess wat? It now says...." Purchase failed, Please try again later" and yes that credit card has more than enough money for the downloads! Any ideas how i can get the maps?

For those that have downloaded the new maps and get the content damaged error. Do the maintenance thingy on your hdd go to system setting and then memory and then highlight ur hdd and press y then press X-X-LB-RB-X-X. then press yes and this will clear your cache. after you have done that delete the whole halo 2 folder(small price to pay for getting it to work) and then after u have deleted the whole halo 2 folder redownload the maps in this order: killtacular, maptacular, blastacular, bonus map. after doing that back out until it restarts halo 2. if you did it right you will find that when you sign in it doesnt say content error. and when you go to matchmaking you can play. this is exactly what i did i dont know if it will work for anyone else

ok well i purchased them like a while ago and it said purchased no maps though. now it says $4 but it didnt charge my cc b4 so thats good, but now it says purchase failed. any suggestions?

i need help with the new halo 2 maps. Ok so i try to download the new halo 2 maps but it says i need to allow permium purchases.Since I have an immigrated gamertag from my xbox to my 360 I couldnt enable permium purchases on the 360.I got out my old xbox and tired to go to account settings on it it says Unable to continue due to technical difficulties and then I couldnt enable it.So what do I do to fix this problem because I looked all over google and found nothing.

Um, i have a prepaid gold card from Target, which is good for an entire year of XBox Live, and when i try to download the maps and pay the $4.00, it says that the transaction couldn't be completed or something like that. This happens whenever i try to spend money for downloads, on any game. Can anyone help me?

i cant find any charges any where on my credit card but it says i have payed on the halo 2 downloader

OK So I gave in and purchased them again, maps now downlaod and install beautifully. I guess I'll just call and try to get a refund for the first one.

check your credit card charges...if you get charged multiple times then call XBL and they'll refund it. Mine had said purchased previously as well but it never charged me until now. And, finally the maps are downloading. Thanks, Frankie! I hope that didn't put you guys in too much of a pinch working on the beta!

OK So I am one of the people who tried to download (legitmately) the maps on the first day, purchased the maps just fine and got my CC charged already, downloaded the maps but couldn't install them. I just checked to see if I could get them yet and it's asking me to purchase them again? It used to say "purchased" under the pictures of the 2 maps but now it says "$4.00" again, I don't want to purchase them AGAIN until I know what's going on, I already paid for them once. $8.00 total seems like a bit much.

I had problems downloading them too but I just sat there trying again each time it failed. About the fourth time it worked.
