Why is everyone saying how grest TES morrowind is now?
Honestly I could not get into the game... mainly due to the combat. I would swing at something 1 foot ahead of me and it won't register the hit.
When oblivion came out everyone was saying.how it was lightvyears ahead of morrowind but now that skyrim been out for a while people are saying how great morrowind was..
Was it really that good?

It's because unlike Oblivion and Skyrim Morrowind had an interesting story. True, it was marred by painful graphics, combat, and animation but again, it was the story and atmosphere that made it so well loved.
