Posting Tools Script For Firefox/Opera *Updated 18th August*

[b]UPDATE!!![/b] Squashed the bug where if you press either the "Named Link", "Youtube Search" or "Google Search" button and then click cancel, it'd still add in a link but the parameters would be null. Also, I added in a "Insert Thread Link" section. [quote][/quote]This is a script that adds buttons to the "Create Post" page, "Send Message" page and also the "Create Post" page in groups that, when clicked, adds the respective formatting tag. [b]Features:[/b] *Bold tag button *Italics tag button *Underline tag button *Url tag button *Email tag Button *Quote tag button *H3shot tag button *Named link button *Youtube search button (Adds a link to a Youtube search with words you specify) *Google search button (Adds a link to a Google search with words you specify) *Insert forum link section (Adds a link to one of the other Bungie.net forums) *Insert PM link section (Adds a link to a new PM to specific members [mods, Luke, Shiska, Stosh, Achronos and Duardo]) *Insert thread link section (Adds a link to one of the predefined threads) [quote][/quote][url=http://gears.speedysurfer.co.uk/tools.user.js]Download It Here![/url] [url=http://gears.speedysurfer.co.uk/toolsexscreenie.png]What it does [Collapsed] (look under text box)[/url] [url=http://gears.speedysurfer.co.uk/toolsexpandedscreenie.png]What it does [Expanded] (look under text box)[/url] [quote][/quote][b]INSTALLATION (FIREFOX)[/b] This script requires you to be using Mozilla Firefox or Opera as your browser. For Opera installation instructions, see the next section. For Firefox, this script also requires the Greasemonkey extension. ([url=http://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748]download[/url]) Step 1: Download the script (see link above). Step 2: Drag ".js" file into Firefox Window Step 3: Click Install Step 4: Click "reply" under this post and be amazed! [quote][/quote][b]INSTALLATION (OPERA)[/b] This script requires you to be using Mozilla Firefox or Opera as your browser. For Firefox installation instructions, see the previous section. Installing the script in Opera does not require any extensions. The disadvantage is that the script will execute on every Bungie.net page, and not just those with posts in them. Step 1: Download the script (see link above). Step 2: Navigate to Bungie.net in the Opera browser Step 3: Right Click anywhere on the page, and choose "Edit Site Preferences" Step 4: Click on the "Scripting" tab Step 5: Below "User Javascript Files," you can click "choose" and locate the file you just saved. Step 6: If the prompt does not allow you to search through your desktop and you don't know how to reference the location yourself, move the age.user.js file to another folder, such as your Documents folder. Step 7: Click "OK" to close the "Site preferences" window. Step 8: Click "reply" under this post and be amazed! [quote][/quote]The installation instructions in this post were borrowed from CAVX and modified to suit my script. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask!
