I am not going to link (it's been done enough already), but I believe that it has been confirmed that a particular domain on the Internet (with the word Destiny in its URL) is not owned by Bungie LLC but in fact by someone who is likely (well, at least until now) unaware of the Destiny/Bungie link.
So, if (and I am still open to evidence that shows the URL is Bungie-controlled, but I believe that it is not) we've been pounding that address, site and login with lame attempts to "get in", I think that we (as a community) may want to show the owner/host of that address that we're sorry for any inconvenience and/or perceived threat/attack that they may have felt due to our.... eagerness.
So, idea and suggestion time. What is the correct etiquette for a "sorry that we appeared to be raiding your server"?
Flowers?
A card?
A t-shirt?
A cool "I survived being Bungie.netted" logo for their front page?
Any ideas are welcome, what say you?

"Folks need heroes chief, to give 'em hope! So smile would ya? While we still got somethin' to smile about!" And yeah, I think if we had day for all of the community to go and do something nice in their community, a site organized day where everyone posts what they're going to do and where. Then we coordinate from there and see who's nearby so we can work in groups. Maybe it'll end up on the news and our reach can spread. Get more people to do better things. I like it :)
