Are the moniters pure AI?
Earlier today, i was browsing the terminals from the anniversary, and the terminals from halo 4. Then, i had an idea that the monitors like guilty spark, could have been specially chosen forerunners who were put into the monitors bodies by the composer. Since you people seem to be experts on this sort of thing, are the monitors pure AI, or were they forerunners who were put into the monitor's bodies by the composer?

[/quote] Prometheans are the result of taking a digital composed 'AI' and then attempting to turn it biological once more; in doing so, they become corrupted. I'm not entirely sure why the Didact didn't just leave them artificial, instead of having a cognitively-challenged hybrid.
