Time/File size maths question
I'm trying to upload a video to youtube ATM and it currently says its gonna take around 3600 minutes to upload, which equates to almost 3 days and I really cba to wait that long for one video.
The file size is of the video is around 21GB, which equals 21000MB. Now going on a 1MB a second upload speed that would take 21000 seconds to render, which is 350 minutes or almost 6 hours.
Now 3600 minutes is just over 10x 350, so I worked out that the video is uploading at 0.1MB per second.
Is that correct?

Why don't you just take file size and divide it by estimated minutes? 21 Gb is 21504 Mb so.. 21504/3600 (Mb/min) = 5.97 Mb/min. So 0[b].[/b]09955555... so yes 0[b].[/b]1 Mb/sec.
