Windows failed to start HELP ME!

I need help and quickly. I restarted my computer last week to install updated, but when it was re-booting, it came up with a screen that gave me an option to start windows normally or go into repair mode. I clicked start windows normally. After a few seconds, the windows logo appeared then after 'loading' for a second or two, a blue screen flashed with something like 0000000x something something something. Windows failed to start. Then it went back to the repair windows or start normally screen. I chose to repair. It loads, but the repair window never comes up. It just stays with the window start-up background and my mouse. Does anyone know what to do? I need help, this is a school computer. [Edited on 01.07.2013 6:32 AM PST]

 •
Posted by: TopWargamer Download the Windows ISO and put it onto a DVD (the ISO size is 3.9 GB). This is perfectly legal by the way. Go into your BIOS and set your computer to boot from your DVD drive. Insert the DVD after you put Windows 7 on it. Now the installer will appear. Click on something that says "repair your computer" or something like that, and then run the repair tool. Done Same thing happened to me a week ago. Doing the above fixed it.
This. You need something with a functioning operating system on it. If that doesn't work, which I doubt it won't, you could mount Puppy Linux on a usb stick, boot it up, copy the files to an external, and reinstall Windows fresh in similar fashion to TopWargamer's idea.
