Marty O'Donnell, Hawaii, Geminid meteor shower = Mind blown

I was lucky enough to be in Hawaii on top of Mauna Kea last night and saw the Geminid meteor shower. No moon, pitch black, so many stars the sky looked white. Put in Reach soundtrack, laid back on the roof of my truck, and watched a show of dozens of shooting stars and huge colorful fireballs. It made me want to thank Marty for creating such incredible music over the years, beautiful, deep, strong and subtle. Last night, that music was even more powerful than the silence of the night :) Mahalo Marty

Should have stuck some Halo 2 on.
I'm sorry... but I could not disagree with someone any more if I wanted to. I really did not like Halo 2's soundtrack. Even if that is your thing, electric guitar would completely ruin the mood. Say what you want about Reach, but the soundtrack was absolutely wonderful.
I thought the soundtrack was one of the worst parts of Reach, Marty really let himself down. He's forgiven though, because he's the man who gave us this divine piece amongst others over the years. Halo 2 has the best OST in the series.
