Pokemon X and Y announced!
Pokemon X and Pokemon Y announced for 3DS
Nintendo has announced Pokemon X and Pokemon Y for 3DS, the first handheld mainline Pokemon set in a breathtaking 3D world, for a worldwide release in October 2013.
The game features new starters Chespin (grass), Fennekin (fire), and Froakie (water)

I'm sure they are going to make R/S remakes now that they are pushing the 3DS and it lacks a GBA port. Hopefully by 2014 or something.

They did not remake Gen III, because black and white did phenomenally well and they deserved sequels. Besides, I am sure there will be a way to get most of all the legends in X and Y. Sapphire was my favourite pokemon game ever. As long as I can get a new Kyogre in X and Y, I am happy. [Edited on 01.08.2013 4:20 AM PST]

Serebii just updated. [url=http://serebii.net/index2.shtml]Serebii[/url] You can see pictures of the new Pokemon. Seems like the Y legend really is Y shaped. I do not see the x shape in the x legend. Unless it is the crystals?

The lack of gen III remake greatly disturbs me, those -blam!-s at nintendo are perfectly fine with remaking Gen I twice and Gen II once, but III? -blam!- that we're making a brand new Generation with a deer with giant-ass antlers and a Red bird as legendaries with weird-ass starters to -blam!- with the fanbase!
