  • [quote][b]Posted by:[/b] Pulse Cloud Anyone knows why this is so? Is it just the result of some oversight by the devs, was it on purpose because of some security reason, etc.?[/quote]Probably a combination of both. If memory serves the url tag used to support a number of functions, including mailto for some reason. That all disappeared when the inputs were limited in the wake of The Infamous Backwards Character Incident of 2007* (Or How Not To Handle Your Inputs), and https was probably just neglected, as frankly it wasn't very popular back then. It's only in the past 2 years that https has seen use as standard. *NB: May not have actually been 2007, nor infamous. Was definitely backwards.

  • [quote][b]Posted by:[/b] Viron Probably because its HTTP secure, maybe something to do with the encrypting of the information and that Bungie.net forums don't have the authentification privileges [/quote] But there's [url=http://Your Mom]nothing to authenticate[/url], just gimme a link to whatever the URL is!

Simply remove the "s" from "https" and you're good to go :-) [/quote] Anyone knows why this is so?
