Wider, less clutter (looking at you right-hand-side bars and background images), no dropdowns (ever.), no more tiny stacked 10pt text links, indications of where you've posted/what's been posted in since you've read it. other than that things are relatively ok. definitely would keep the colour palette. nothing wrong with blue and grey on grey. it does however need unifying. certain things are clearly from older iterations of the site. Threads that have Destianty Logos and Hyper Space threads and cosmic string posts and Smileys with colored writing. Most of all Animated Avatars. spoilers! then, and i hesitate to say it, but images? it would maybe look a little untidy, but if they automatically got put into spoilers i think it'd work.

Visually, I kinda like what we have now. I would add a sent messages folder to PMs and overhaul the hell out of the title system, though.

I would have all posts by Mythics under a spoiler tag by default. That would keep the discussions running smoothly. If one wishes to have their brain lose a few cells, they can hit the "show spoiler" button on each Mythic post.

Most importantly I want to have the ability to change my username as soon as it comes out. AFAIK, Achronos said something about us being able to, hopefully its true. I would also like an option for older members to use custom avatars, whether it be through higher rank or just being around longer. I honestly wouldn't know what to change aesthetically speaking, but an upgrade would be nice. Last but not least, not that it matters, but maybe more titles? [Edited on 01.05.2013 1:37 PM PST]

As long as the forums stay simple and effective as they are now I'm not too bothered what aesthetic changes they make. I hate going to the Waypoint forums and seeing the "Thank" system, having two different options for quoting and simple replying, and the option to change font size and colour, which gets abused. I love B.net how it is now. Anyone know when this overhaul is taking place?
