Is destiny MMO?

Ok so from reading through a lot of threads it's being said the destiny will be an MMO. But from watching the recent IGN video about the concept are the guy said that bungie was joking about destiny being an MMO. So im a little confused is it an MMO or nor?

  • MMO just means Massively Multiplayer Online. There is a difference between a MMO and a MMORPG. It could be that the game supports a large number of players on one server.

  • If someone doesn't cite a source, don't believe them. Nobody who's said Destiny will be an MMO has cited a credible source or, if they have, they misunderstood the source. This goes for pretty much everything, but especially the Destiny situation. ©
