Bnet has taught me many things throughout the 2-3 years lurking/posting. Some things useless, like "talking about dumps is NSFW", to actually important things like discussion value (life lessons and stuff for english) and how to live with the fact that some people have diffrent opinions.
Anywho, has bnet helped you grow as a person? And if so, how?
-
b.net has made me... hasn't changed me much but it gives me hope that i'll see a community pre-announcment thread about the Destined game!
-
Lets face it, its done nothing but make me a more hateful soul.
-
The internet is srs buisnezz.
-
Quite a lot when I think about it... I learned a bit about website coding; spelling and grammar. It was also the first online community I joined, and was where I shaped my online identity. Back in '06 - I was 14 then Kinda crazy
-
Spelling, grammar, intelligence.
-
Everyone in this forum is 12.
-
It's helped me regress.

"It" tore me out of an Extreme Anxiety Disorder and an extreme depression xD [Edited on 11.19.2012 6:46 PM PST]

It has been a great additional social outlet of entertainment for the past few years. That's pretty much all it comes down to for me.
-
It's helped me with my writing and grammar.
-
Bnet has helped me learn more about myself. I've learned that I'm not so considerate when I know that I have the anonymity of the internet to protect me; at least I've learned from my mistakes and have became a better person from them. [Edited on 11.19.2012 3:05 PM PST]
Posted by: Mythical Wolf It's made me a jerk.
I'd say that it doesn't make anyone into to anything, rather, I'd propose the prospect that it merely nurtures the truer nature of the forum users, and over time, magnifies/intensifies the various aspects of that nature. Hmmm.

The people... This community is so diverse, regardless of what people say. All of that diversity is a real eye opener. If it's not, you're doing it wrong. [Edited on 11.19.2012 6:55 AM PST]

Spelling. Grammar. Politics (strangely). Humour. Aspirations. Connections. Friends. Networking. Confidence. Varying degrees of life experience that has taught me many valuable lessons. Helped love life. Grew my e-penor. And generally boosted my maturity levels. To me it's a community of shared joy for accomplishing goals. That's a very inspiring thing to be around.

It made me learn how to debate. Then it made me learn how to pick with whom I would debate. Pretty decent life skills, if you ask me.

I no longer get emotional when i get t-bagged. [Edited on 11.19.2012 1:24 AM PST]

It hasn't.

Well, I'm like two years older since I joined. so...

Yeah, this site actually has taught me a few good lessons and honestly helped me through a tough time (Still helping actually). And that's not because I make threads about my life and ask for help, but because I like to read and laugh at some posts while voicing my opinion and commenting on pointless things. It's just nice to be apart of Bungie.net and I honestly prefer this place over any other because I actually know people. They may not know me, but I recognize them... Long story short, yes, Bnet has taught me some things and provided some nice memories.

Bungie.net is a bristle. Does the canvas ever really grow?
-
Not to trust shady links.
