So I bought a book at Barnes and Noble that contained the first three Foundation books in it and I am hooked. I've found out there are more of them and wanted to know if they are any good. I heard they kinda get a bit ridiculous as it goes on, but Asimov hasn't let me down yet.
So yeah, any good?
Posted by: Godshatter Also, Robert A. Heinlein for another early grandmaster of Sci-Fi.
I'm probably a brute for saying this, but even my favorite Heinlein book (Starships Troopers) was a chore to read at times. There were like 4 battles in that book and they were in between hundreds of pages of Rico's God damn studies for the officers academy. Not to say the first drop wasn't absolutely breathtaking, because it was.

It started out as a trilogy but the other 2 he wrote later on were at least as good. I haven't read them in years though, but for sure I remember liking the ones after the main trilogy just as much. Also, Robert A. Heinlein for another early grandmaster of Sci-Fi. [Edited on 11.15.2012 11:15 PM PST]
