Vaccinations are extremely harmful; natural remedies are essential

I don't understand all the parents who actually choose to inject their children with viruses, especially with all the new evidence coming out about the dangers of vaccines. Instead of damaging our children with small strains of illnesses that are designed to attack the immune system, we need to use safe, natural remedies to fight infections with our immune systems. Agree? [Edited on 11.10.2012 3:46 PM PST]

 •
Posted by: SpartanMk18 We are way to dependent on Antibiotics. We could seriously see a time when they become useless as bacteria and viruses evolve into a state where antibiotics have no effect. we owe it to our species to not abuse vaccines and medicine. Flu shots to me, are absolutely retarded. It's an easily combated virus and people still choose to get inoculated each year because the virus is ever evolving.
First of all, I'm guessing you've only ever had very mild cases of flu, if even that. Severe cases of flu can last for weeks and will keep you in bed, throwing up that entire time. Second of all, vaccines and antibiotics are very different things. An antibiotic is usually some protein or compound that has some specific mechanism which the targeted organism can overcome through mutation. A vaccine is a dead or harmless version of some virus that allows your immune system to create antibodies for the virus while it is unable to do any real damage to you, so when you do get infected with the real virus, your body can just beat it down the old fashioned way. For vaccines, we just use the updated version of the virus, so its an entirely different matter than when we get organisms capable of resisting antibiotics.

 •
Posted by: Nerd Boi Clearly brainwashed. Look at you, thinking individual herbalists are not in the pockets of the big companies. Who do you think pays for herbalists research?
LOL Let me get this straight: Big Medicine pays herbalists to write books and books of information that go against Big Medicine? All of my wat.

 • Ok, here is my view on it. Diseses like Smallpox, the Plague, lockjaw, etc... are only capable of being fought through vaccination. However, we owe it to our selves to do our best to let our own immune system fight infection. We are way to dependent on Antibiotics. Let your immune system work. If you feel that you are losing the battle seek medical help. We must do what we can to not force the evolution of these terrible viruses. Using antibiotics will only speed their evolution. What's being sick for a few days compared to an evolving virus?

They were citing sources from "scientific" studies that were carried out by Big Medicine employees. Pretty much a load of bull-blam!- propaganda.
