Bungie's Christmas Gift - GIFT AT BUNGIE!

December 14th 2012: GIFT ARRIVED AT BUNGIE (Appears Jerome has signed for it.) I just want to thank all of you for participating this year... I actually had a lot of fun getting you guys together for something we could all participate in. I should have let you all know as well that I was tracking the package from my post office, all the way to Bungie, and had been updating my Twitter with tracking details the entire way. That part was actually sort of fun as well, so if we do this next year, I'll be sure to keep you guys in the loop! Once again, thanks to all for taking the time to do a little something to acknowledge your thanks and to give your best wishes to all the hardworking ladies and gentlemen over at the studio. Merry Christmas! December 10th 2012: GIFT COMPLETE AND IN THE MAIL! It was a lot of fun putting this small gift together for the fine folks over at Bungie, and as of last night the gift has been completed! I spoke with Santa this afternoon and he said he'd be happy to deliver it to the studio within the next few days. In the meantime, Bungie Community Members are welcome to visit the Bungie.net Community Christmas group where loads of people took the time to stop by and contribute, to take a look at the finished product. Employees not allowed! (Honor system of course.) Link Every year, Bungie continues to provide us with a website that allows us to connect with one another and I'm well aware that this is a function that we as a whole often take for granted. The team at Bungie work hard throughout the year, in an effort to create something incredible, something that we will all enjoy some time down the road. That being said, and with the holiday season just around the corner, I think it's fitting that we show a bit of love and thanks in return. So, this project will be small, simple, and hopefully secretive. No extravagant presents, no requirement to donate financially, just follow these simple instructions and be patient, and I will keep you all updated by other means than this thread. I encourage you all to participate, because as I said, this will require a few simple steps from all who join in, but overall things will be quick and easy on your end. Step 1: Send me a PM stating clearly that you are willing to participate. Step 2: You will be sent a reply in time. So be patient. Follow the direction of the PM to where you will discover the rest of our plan. Once enough people have agreed to participate, and we proceed with our Holiday plans, it will be only then that Bungie is made aware of our gift, and for those that end up not being able to participate or simply won't, you'll still get to see it as well. • The santa hat on the Destiny logo is a nice touch. Also, it's a little weird seeing my username on a card.
