Why do you still play this game? Better games have come out.

I really enjoy Reach and really dont understand why people hated it so much. People said the graphics sucked simply because the colors were darker. The game is depressing and dark so why would the colors be vibrant like Halo 3? Also the armor lock and bloom cry babies got old a week after launch. Bungie took a leap on Reach and it gave Halo what it needed which was a change. The changes they did make were very good IMO and I personally like Reach over Halo 3. Call me crazy but Reach was just an all around great Halo game. Its been a blast!

I will play whatever game I choose, even it not the newest or the best. I play it, because I like it. People play MineCraft, that game does not appeal to me, so why give hate to those who do. Play what you want to play, not what the world tells you. And have fun.

([i]a new FPS beaten by a sports title - WTF[/i]). And dont forget Minecraft ... hardcore stuff that it is. Guess bungie tried to claim that ground with forge, but? The fact is, that people pre-ordered reach on record numbers, and then brought even more copies as first-day releases - all thanks to the hype machine that is bungie ... and yet the online numbers dropped to 1/6th within two weeks. Good games dont become [i]uninteresting[/i] in that short a timespan. People were disappointed, bored ... and back to the OP's point, there was/are better games.

But some people cant move on ... or just cant afford to go buying new titles as they come out. We all have friends like that - so its good to play their game of reach now and again rather than upset people.

I'm not a gamer. I'm a player, but not a gamer. I started with Marathon in the 90s at work on the LAN. We played that for a long time. Then we did Myth and some Duke Nukem. Then Halo hit and we were in Heaven. Played insane LAN games of CE on Macs. Then we got an Xbox and played Halo 2 on the 4 split. By then time Halo 3 came out I was the only one left who was interested. I got a 360 and Halo for Xmas. I was 50 years old then and it was pure joy for me even though I am terrible. Got ODST and and Reach too. I like Reach even though I know the gamers have issues with it. But I'm just a player and I have no interest in dissecting the game mechanics and honing my skills to some ridiculous level. I just like immersing in the Halo world and pretending matchmaking is like some giant global LAN game. [Edited on 10.02.2012 9:54 PM PDT]

I stopped playing when they removed Anniversary FFA. Currently not playing anything until Halo 4 comes out.

I like playing Halo, and REACH is the latest Halo that has came out. And if Im not playing Halo, im probably on BF3 or GOW3.

I played Reach (BTB) the other night for the first time in like three months. First game I get a Perfection, third game my team loses by 2 points because two randoms died a combined 44 times. This game still blows schlong in making even decent matches.
